Protects welding material

The CANTESCO AS Surfactant Based Antispatter is used for prevention of spatter build up in welding applications. It contains corrosion inhibitors and reduces the need for grinding and additional clean-up procedures, thus production costs can be lowered.

The ready to use material provides a thin, uniform coating that prevents spatter build up on MIG nozzles, tips, fixtures and materials during welding applications. As a water based, non-chlorinated product, CANTESCO AS Surfactant Based Antispatter eliminates health and safety concerns with respect to toxic materials and flammability.

Product information

Composition 
Water based product does not contain any chlorinated solvents or propellants in the formulation. Exempt from OSHA requirements for hazardous chemical materials. CANTESCO AS Surfactant Based Antispatter is not flammable and does not contain any solvent materials, and eliminates concerns regarding hazardous decomposition of chlorinated solvents (resulting in toxic fumes of phosgene gas) that result when heating chlorinated based anti-spatter products.
